Meetings Day And Night
fNE. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. Racegoers will be able to attend an Otaki Maori Racing eSub’s meeting at Trentbam and, the same night, a Wellington Trotting Club meeting at Hutt Park on Saturday, September 30. This date has been granted both clubs. It is a departure from the custom of- not having galloping and night trotting meetings on the same date when tfce clubs are within 50 mites of each other.
ANSWER TO CORRESPONDENT.—Mercedes: A J. Bourne drove Courtesan in the Allenton Handicap—which she won—at Ashburton on June 3. .There was no meeting at Timaru that day.
