Bratton has been appointed mailroom superintendent at the Chief Post Office, Christchurch. He was formerly on the Wellington mailroom staff.

Members of the management committee of the Canterbury Cricket Associati n stood in silence at their meeting last evening in memory of Dr. F. L. Scott, who died last week. The chairman of the committee (Mr J. T. Eltoft) said that Dr. Scott had given good service to sporting bodies in the city. «.
