SOVIET SPY SENTENCED
Soblen Gaoled For Life (N.Z PA-Reuter—Com/rfeht) NEW YORK. August 8 The convicted Soviet spy. Robert Soblen. has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Doctors say Soblen is suffering from advanced leukemia. and predict he will probably live less than a year. The Judge recommended that Soblen serve his sentence at Springfield, Missouri, where there are medical facilities needed tor his condition. Soblen is a brother of Jack Soblen who was convicted four years ago as a Soviet spy. He was one of the chief witnesses against Robert.
