Dragged Beneath Cable Car

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 9. After being dragged along under the Kelburn cable car this afternoon a man--hi«: clothing torn to shreds—crawled out from underneath it and was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from severe bruising, lacerations to his head and shock. He is Mr F D. Winter, assistant secretary of the Public Service Association. Mr Winter was knocked down when he went on to the tracks to see if the car was coming.
