MANAGER FOR PLOUGHMAN
Former President Of Association The manager to accompany this year’s Atlantic Silver Plough winner to the world ploughing contest in France will be Mr J. S. Marshall, jun., of Waianiwa, Invercargill, a former president of the New Zealand Ploughing Association and a foundation member of the executive. Mr Marshall will leave with the New Zealand champion, H. A. Magson, of Rakaia, on September 15. He will also represent New Zealand at meetings of the World Ploughing Organisation held in association with the world championship. Mr Marshall farms with his brother at Waianiwa, and is secretary to the Southland Champion Ploughing Match Association and president of the Southland Stud Beef Cattle Breeders' Society. He and ,his brother breed stud Aberdeen Angus cattle and stud Romney sheep.
