SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED
Bank Of New South Wales A scholarship tenable at Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, worth £250 a year will be offefed by the Bank of New' South Wales next year, and for the following seven years, to students of the college who have graduated bachelor of agricultural science or are eligible for the conferment of that degree, or who have graduated as a bachelor, or are eligible for the conferment of the degree of a bachelor, from a university of New Zealand. This was announced at a meeting of the college board of governors yesterday The scholarships are to mark the centenary of service .of the Bank of New South Wales in Ngw Zealand. The purpose of the scholarships is to assist students of proven merit to proceed to a master’s degree in economics or agricultural economics. > Draft governing the award ef the scholarships to the college were approved by the board yesterday. Awards of the scholarship will be made by the college council on the recommendation of the professorial board. The Bank of New Sotfth Wales is providing similar scholarships tenable st universities in New Zealand.
