Short Odds On Mozart
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copvrtqht) MELBOURNE, August 8. The New Zealand jumper Mozart may start at odds on in the Australian Steeplechase at Caulfield on Saturday. If he does he will join Redditch and Pedro’.s Pride, which started at odds on and won in 1934 and 1957 respectively. Redditch carried 12-13 in 1934 and started at 13/8 on. Redditch also Won in 1933 at 10'9 against. In the last 30 years six favourites and .three equal favourites have won the Australian Steeples. Mozart strode over two miles and a half on the tan at Caulfield today. He looks well after his win in the Godfrey Watson Steeplechase op Saturday,
