MINOR FIRES
A rubbish fire at 5.1 p.m. yesterday on an unoccupied section at 25 Heathcote road. Woolston, caused no damage One unit from Woolston attended. An oven fire at 302 Marine parade, owned by Mr W. J. Stockdill, caused no damage. One unit from New Brighton attended at 5.53 p.m. No damage was caused by a chimney fire at 49 Somme street, St. Albans, at 4.41 p.m. ' One unit from St. Albans attended. A fire in a fowlhouse at 34 Southampton street, owned by Mr R. W. Steele, caused slight damage. One unit from Sydenham and a unit from Central attended at 1.27 pjn.
