Wahl Appears In Court (NJZJ’A.-Reut er—Copyright) SYDNEY, July 15. The German-born escaper Ralph Gustav Wahl has apologised—“l’m glad it’s all over”—for “any inconvenience” he caused in the dramatic, 72-hour manhunt that ended early yesterday. Wahl, aged 29, appeared in a Manly Magistrate’s Court, apologised, and was remanded in custody until July 24. He faces 14 charges—all for offences allegedly commifed .in his 72 hours of freedom before dawn on Tuesday until early yesterday. He was arrested at Manly yesterday by four armed detectives.
