Temporary Post For N.Z. Woman

Mrs Donald Gray, formerly Miss Judith Campbell, a distinguished graduate of the University of Canterbury, has been appointed a temporary lec’urer in English at Somerville College. Oxford University. Even the temporary post is considered a notable achievement. Mrs Gray, who came from Wellington, took a master of arts degree with flrst-class honours in English at Canterbury University in 1957, gaining first-class honours marks in every one of her seven papers. She then won a post-graduate scholarship in English and took a bachelor of arts degree at Oxford. Her husband, an Englishman, has recently been appointed a fellow of Pembroke College. Oxford.
