East German Vaccine Offer

(N Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) BERLIN. July 3. East Germany has offered 3,000.000 units of Russian polio vaccine to West Germany to help stop what it called a growing polio epidemic in West Germany. The East Germ er Denu'y Prime Minister (Mr Willi Stoph), making the offer, said that the Government was shocked by the growing number of poliomyelitis cases in West Germany. He said that in the Ruhr basin more than 650 persons, most of them children, were ill with the disease, and 42 had died.
