Sir.—lt is a pity that our leaders are rushing into direct aggression over KuwaiL It was hoped that such an action had long since bew discarded. Is it to be another Suez or another Cuba? It would be far better for Britain to have arranged to discuss the troubles around a amferer.ee table, as has been done with the Laos trouble. The period when the Western Powers could thrust their point of view over other nations with force has gone. The matter has to go before the United Nations in any case, so why appear before them with blood on the hands?—Yows, etc., PJA. July 3, Ififll.
