FORBURY PARK RESIGNATIONS
Three Sent To Club (NZ Press Association) DUNEDIN, June 23. Three members Of the 13man Fort>ury Park Trotting Club executive committee have sent their resignations to the club. They are Messrs D. Macdougall. E. J. Buttar, and C. H. S. Stevens, all of Dunedin. The club president (Mr A H. Finnie) said he had only received notice of two resignations when the matter was referred to him tonight. He preferred not to comment until after a meeting of the club executive. It is believed the resignations were based on a matter of principle arising out of a recommendation from the finance committee The recommendation was not sup. ported by the executive Besides being club treasurer. Mr Macdougall is chairman of the finance committee. Mr Stevens is also a member of the committee together with Messrs J G ; Barnes. C. E. Larsen (vicepresident) and Finnie. Mr Stevens left for Janan this week, and Messrs Macdougall and Buttar declined to comment They affirmed they had sent their resignations to the club.
