Auckland Team Chosen
(N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 11. Four current test players. K. Armstrong. J. G. Kemp J. D. Wrathall. and G P Eccles, have been included in the Auckland soccer team to play the English team on Wednesday. Wrathall’s appearance will be subject to his obtaining time off work. The team is:— Goal: A. E. Cozens. Full-backs: B. J. Wallace G. H. Kaiser. Half-backs: K. Armstrong W. G. Ward. J. G Kempt. Forwards: G. P. Eccles J D. Wrathall or T. Patterson L. O. Polyansky. R. Cochran. P. J. Oden. Reserves; A. Windsor. J. A Roberts. D. E. Easto, J Sheppard.
World Soccer Federation.— The New Zealand Football Association wants Fiji to join the World Soccer Federation. Its views were put to visittog Fijian officials last week Negotiations for a Hong Kong team to tour the Dominion next season are in progress and if they should fall through Fiji will be the logical replacement team to invite.—(P.A.)
