Longer Term For Boards (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 9. Secondary school board members can be elected tor a three-year term instead of the present two years, according to a notice gazetted lest night. The change in the election procedure had been made at tee request of tee New Zealand Secondary Schools Boards’ Association, said an official of the Department of Education last night. Any other major change in the management of secondary schools would probably be left until the report of the Commission on Education had been presented and considered, tee official said.
