Cable Fault.— About 60 telephone subscribers an the Islington exchange area were cut off at mid-wiorning on Sunday when water entered a cable through a split in the lead sheath. A Post Ofllpe gang worked for more thin 12 hours to replace the damaged length of cable, and the last of the subscribers wjas reconnected by midnight.
