Competitors from Nelson to Southland attended the trials of the Oxford Collie Club held on Mr R. S. Bassett’s property at Burnt Hill. In each class entries exceeded the 100 mark. Club trophies were won as follows:—Most points, A. E Benbow; most points huntaway, A. E. Benbow; most points district competitor, D. G. McGrath: most points maiden dogs, K Barwell; most points, class I (district), p. Newton; Harewood Arms Cup, P. Newton: Fulton Memorial Cup. P. Newton: A. D. Budge Memorial, P. Lundy; Woodbine Cup (three doe team), P. Lundy; R. Powell Memorial Cup, D. Paget. Judges were as follows:—Class 1, P. A. Gibbs (Wakefield); class 2, A. D. Gibson (Oamaru); class 3, J.
