The French Lawn Tennis Federation decided today by a 32 to 15 vote to support the British and United States proposals for open tournaments. , Britain and the United States have separate proposals on the open tournaments issue included on the agenda for the International Lawn Tennis Federation’s annual meeting in Stockholm next July.
Earlier this month the Australian Lawn Tennis Federation decided to oppose proposals allowing amateurs and professionals to compete together.
