Attempted Murder Charge Remand

(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, May 29. Frank Wells, aged 17, a car wrecker, of 21 Jessie street, Whangarei, was charged in the Whangarei Court today with attempting to murder John Wells.

At the request of Detective Senior-Sergeant M. J. Ross, Mr J. R. Herd, S.M.. remanded the accused to appear in Auckland on June 6. Detective Ross said that John Wells, father of the accused, might still be in hospital for another three weeks or a month.
