NON-TOTALISATOR EVENT
Ten Horses Entered Ten horses will parade in the Canterbury Park Trotting Trial, a non-totalisator event at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club's winter meeting at Addington today. Run over one mile and a half, it will start at 10 40 a.m. The field includes several horses entered for maiden trotters' races at Ashburton and Nelson, the final trotting meetings of the present season. Performances in today’s races could prove a reliable guide for the o,ther meetings. The club, a staunch supporter of straight-out trotters. has provided trophies worth £lOO. The owner of the winner will receive a trophy worth £6O, the owner of .the second horse £25. and the owner of the third horse. £l5.
