MRS J. BARKER ENTERTAINED
Function Held By C.W.I. The Canterbury Federation of Women’s Institutes entertained Mrs J. Barker, a member of the Dominion executive of the organisation, at the Y.W.C.A. last evening. Guests included representatives of the North Canterbury and the Canterbury East Federations of the C.W.1.. members of institutes throughout Canterbury, and two visitors from England. Mrs W. Stevens Perry and Miss M. Perry. A musical programme arranged by Mrs W. McDiar-
mid, included items by Mesdames Cara Cogswell and E. Williams (vocal solos) and Mrs E. Holmes (recitations).
