FINANCE GROUP MANAGER

Miss L. J. Bradley

Miss L. J. Bradley, who was recently appointed manager of the Ainsworth Group of Finance Companies, is the first woman to attain an executive position in this branch of commerce in Christchurch. She has been associated with financing and the motorvehicle trade in Christchurch for many years. Miss Bradley served in the Women’s Auxiliary of the Air Force in the administration section for three years during the Second World War. She was vice-president of the Christchurch branch cf the Air Force Association during its formative years.

Her leisure time interests include sport, music and drama. She has won several New Zealand roller-skating titles in pairs events. Miss Bradley is a member of the Waitikiri Golf Club and recently qualified for the Canterbury women’s match play golf championships.
