The Museum

Sir, —“Lo. this is a portion of His ways.” To make a small charge to every person entering that beautiful and wonderful display of God's creation, which is a marvellous realm of awe and beauty, would be quite proper. The writer many years ago was greatly touched by the dignity and quietness of the respectful people who viewed the ■wonders of the Creator's handiwork in the museum. Voices were hushed; all moved quietly from wonder to wonder. I was recently grieved to hear the loud talking and shouting and bustle of many men, women, and especially uncontrolled and undisciplined children. I know the staff do all they can to preserve the dignity of the most beautiful place in the city.— Yours, etc. MANCHESTER STREET. May 18, 1961.
