Taieri Team For Auction

"The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. May 18. Messrs N. W. Crosbie and E. C. S. Falconer, who have sold their farming property at North Taieri, will dissolve a successful racing partnership next month when they will offer their string of thoroughbreds by auction. The six horses to be sold are descendants of the McLean Stakes winner Lyndall. They are the brood mare Rondel, Panel. Chattel. Fair Note, a yearling gelding by Howe and a BellboroughRondel filly foal. Bondel is in foal to Bellborough. Panel, which has been second in three of her last four starts, is one of the early favourites for the Waiau Handicap at Invercargill on Saturday. Chattel left maiden class with a won on the first day of the Southland meeting. Fair Note, runner-up to Waihola in the McLean Stakes, was placed in her other two starts this season and has resumed training after a spell.
