Goods Worth £40 Stolen

Cigarettes and groceries valued at £4O were stolen from the warehouse of Mr J. W. Donaldson at 50 Sawyers Arms road, Papanui, on Wednesday night. The thieves gained entry by forcing the front door. The same method was used by thieves to get into the nearby shop of Mr R. H. Small at 28 Sawyers Arms road on Wednesday night. About 1800 cigarettes were stolen. A 10 horse-power Vauxhall car, painted dark green, number 331-184, was converted from Kingsley street, Waltham, on Wednesday night.
