Plans
Detailed plans were being prepared to show the location of ail buildings in Ferry road, and when they were ready it would be possible to determine the best loca-
tion for the building line, the town planning committee reported to the City Council last evening on the direction of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board that a building line should be fixed to permit the widening of the road by 30ft from Wilsons road to the proposed road tunnel outlet
The board had realised that there might be reasons for not distributing the widening evenly to 15ft on each side, and had directed that the location should be decided by the experts of the council and the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority in consultation, the committee continued The matter V nC ™. hi *SZ the concern of the City Council, as it would be required to meet all compensation ultimately
