Fall In April Figures
The average cost of medical! prescriptions paid for in the Christchurch pricing office zone in April was a halfpenny less than the figure for March, and the number paid for fell by about 47,000 comnared with March. The cost for April was higher than for April last year, but the numbers were fewer. The figures were:—April, 1961: number. 177,209: total cost, £84.902: average cost, 9s 6.M. March, 1961: number, 224.254; total cost. £107,887: average cost. 9s 7.4 d. April. 1960: number, 198.059: total cost. £78,632; average cost, 7s 11.3 d.
