“Serious Slump" In N.S.W.
(N.Z P.A .•Reuter—Copyright) SYDNEY. May 1. A. serious slump in the clothing trade had affected 10.000 of the 16.000 women employed in the industry in New South Wales, said the State secretary of the Clothing Trade Union (Mr J. Collins). Many women and girls had been sacked, he said today.
