VISIT BY NEW MANAGER
First Call After Appointment
Mr R. K. Hart, the new general manager for NewZealand of Dalgety and Company. Ltd., was in the city yesterday to make his first call on the Christchurch branch.
He took up his appointment on Anril 1. succeeding Mr D. P. Alexander, who retired as general manager. Before coming to NewZealand Mr Hart was executive assistant to the genera! manager of Dalgety’s in Australia.
Mr Hart will be based in Wellington, headquarters for New Zealand of the company A Dalgety spokesman said yesterday afternoon that it was a company custom for the general manager to Visit branches throughout the country. “Of course, this is the first time he has called on us in Christchurch since being appointed." he added.
