DREAM KING DIES
Fall In Cup Race At Doomben (X-ZPA.-Reuter— Copyright) BRISBANE. Maj- 1. Dream King, winner of this year's Australian Cup. died in a race fall at Doomben today. He was one of four horse*— including Grand Garry—which fell in the Labour Day Cup. The jockey. W W. Clarke, from Western Australia, suffered possible spinal Injuries and a fractured right collarbone; severe bruising; injuries to the nose, and shock- His left leg also was badly bruised. Grand Garry, which brought the others down when he fell at the half-mile, is thought to have concussion. He also has a cut about the hind leg. The two other horses. Hay Returns and Nukeha, escapde serious injury.
