Archaeologists'* Findings JERUSALEM, March 26 An archaeological expedition working in the Judean desert, Israel, has found 439 bronze and ivory objects dating back 5000 years in a cave. The expedition, under Professor Yigael Yadin, found the hoard wrapped in matting and buried 74 feet under a large stone. It included bronze mace heads, bronze chisels and hammers, and small jugs. In Amman, archaeologists have found a Roman cemetery with tombs dating back to the second century. Among oil lamps and glass objects uncovered was a copper coin, first of its kind ever found.
