Move To Create Interest (KI. Prtt AseoeSeNoel WELLINGTON. March 27. The Dominion council of the National Party thinks more should be done to interest people in the XS to 45 age groups in politics. At a meeting of the council in Wellington. Mr E. F. Holland, of Christchurch. a son of Sir Sidney Holland, suggested that the National Party should set up special study groups and get younger people interested and active in policy formulation. A long-time participant in National Party affairs. Mr E. B. K. Taylor, of Christchurch, thought many officers in the National Party served too long. "Let us step out of our jolly jobs,*' he said, "and let in some of the younger men. They will not make a mess of it; they will improve it." The suggestion for special study groups will be passed to the party’s committee on organisation.
