TECHNICAL COLLEGE
An excellent time by M. Jones in the senior one mile was a feature of the Christchurch Technical College annual athletic sports at Ensor s road. Jones covered the distance in 4mln 33.Osec. compared with the college record of 4min 33.65ec. set up bv C. H. Matthews in 1932. Matthews is a former New Zealand athletic representative, and hit record is the oldest in the college’s list.
