HOLME STATION EWE FAIR
“The Prees” Special Service TIMARU. March 17. One of the best sales held this season, the Holme Station ewe fair, yesterday attracted entries of between 7900 and 8000 head, compared with about 10.000 last year. Quality was flood and bidding from a large gallery of buyers was keen throughout. Values were:—Best two and ihree-shear ewes, to 725; best four and five year ewes, 50s to 61s; medium. 40a to 495; others, 30s to 395.
