Size Of Sections In Halswell
Tire building by-laws in Halswell were amended by the Halswell County Council on Thursday. The amendment is subject to confirmation at the next ordinary meeting. The amendment reduces the area required for a residential section from 32 perches to 24 perches, providing the section is in a subdivision with a sewerage system and high pressure water supply. A house may be built on a back section of not less than 30 perches providing there is access to a roadway.
