Ewe lambs, two-tooth ewes, wether lambs and wethers were !A C jA!. de 2 t ln an entry of nearly 10.000. The sale was followed by probably a record attendance. The following is a range of values:—
Ewe Lambs.—Romney and Romney Cross: Top 35s to 80s medium 44s to 52a, small 34s to 40s Corriedale: Good 42a to 48a. small 35s to 40s. Border Leicester Corriedale cross: 33s Rd to 40s. Romney Border Leicester Cross: 40s to 445.
Wether Lambs.—Romney and Border Leicester Cross: Fat and forward to 40s. Corriedale: Fat and forward 36s 8d to 38a. Two-tooth Ewes.—Romney and Romney Cross: Top 90s to 105 s. good 75s to 355, small 60s to 70s. Corriedale: Top 80s to 735. medium 55s to 60s. small 52s to 545. Halfbred: 50s to 58a.
