BOY CYCLIST KILLED
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 3.
A 12-year-old cyclist was fatally injured when he was struck by a car at the corner of Asquith avenue and Rossgrove terrace. Mount Albert, at 5.50 p.m. today. He was John lan Allen, a son of Mrs D Allen, of Fifth avenue. . Mount Albert, The boy was dead on his arrival at hospital.
Egg production in New Zealand in 1958-1960 was 22.397375 dozen, compared with 12.546,984 dozen in the previous year. Of this quantity 18.431.84’ were sold in the shell, and the rest was converted into 182,098, 281 b tins of frozen whole egg. About half of these tins were exported to the United Kingdom and sold at prices varying froi. £192 10s a ton to £205 a ton, says the annual report of the New Zealand Poultry Board and Egg Marketing Authority.
