S.M.’s CRITICISM OF POLICE

Inquiry To Be Held

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 20. A senior police officer will inquire into the attempt by two policemen to taka a 14-year-old girl from a coffee shop in New Lynn <on the night of January 28. This was said tonight by the officer in charge of the Auckland police district (Superintendent F. J. Brady). Mr H. Jenner Wily, SM, yesterday drew police attention to allegations that the girl had been subjected to "quite considerable force” by two policemen who attempted to take her from the shop.
