Work Of Ladies’ Auxiliary
Mr A. Amyes. chairman at the annual meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Royal Christchurch Musical Society, thanked the auxiliary for its work in contributing a record sum of £335 to the society’s funds in the last year. He said he was sure that even greater efforts would be made this year in view of the proposed visits of the society to the arts festivals at Auckland , and at Adelaide. The following officers were elected:—President, Mrs P C Graham; deputy president. Mrs J. Colthart: secre'arytreasurer. Miss G. D. Rogers. The following new members were added to the working committee.—Mesdames T. A Adamson. B. Bicknell. N. Buchanan. L. Duffle. B. N. Le Cren. T. W Walls, Miss R. E Barrow.
