MR W. G. MELLISH

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. Wellington’s Coroner for more than 20 years, Mr W. G L. Mellish, died at his home In Lyall Bay on Friday. He was in his seventieth year. Mr Mellish received his early training in a legal office and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court in 1916. An early partnership was with Mr A. Scott, and in the early thirties he entered partnership with Mr R. M. Morgan. From until last year, when he retired, Mr Mellish had been practising on his own. He is survived by his wife and three children.
