OBJECTION TO WIN

An objection to Rustic Lad’s first placing in the Fourth Championship Qualifyng Heat, lodged on the grounds of interference to First Kiss after a, furlong and a half, was dismissed at Addington on Saturday. Rustic Lad's driver, J. L. Ferguson, was found guilty of careless driving. He was fined £25.

An objection was lodged against Estelle's second placihg in the Hobart Handicap, on the grounds of interference to Highland Glen, driven by J. D. Litten, with three furlongs to run. After evidence had been given by Litten, P. P. Gallagher, K. Balloch and Estelle’s driver, C. C. Devine, the objection was dismissed. False Step was not allowed to race inthe Sixth Championship Qualifying Heat in a neck pricker. The stipendiary stewards had this removed as it was considered to be unauthorised gear.
