HOME AFTER FOUR YEARS IN AN EGYPTIAN PRISON.—Mr James Zarb at the London airport on February 7, barely 24 hours after his surprise release from Turah Prison, Cairo. At the time of the Suez crisis, towards the end of 1956, Mr Zarb, who was then a businessman in Cairo, was convicted by an Egyptian court on charges of espionage for Britain and sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment. Mr James Swinburn, another Briton imprisoned at the same time, was released in 1959 after serving half of his five years’ sentence.
