Dance Hall Prices
Sir,—l think “Four Latecomers” have a cheek to write and complain about being charged full price for a dance, when they arrived at 11.15 p.m. From my experience over the years they were justly charged. In my district, some persons arrive at every dance at 11 or after and cause trouble. They throw cakes at one another and spill tea everywhere, and act very commonly. They have been known to sneak through the back door and get free supper. They have all had a good education, too, so you can’t blame the common man. —Yours, etc., ALA KE THEM PAY EVERY TIME.
