SYDNEY CUP MEETING
No Canterbury Entries No Canterbury entries for the rich events at the Australian Jockey Club’s autumn meeting at Randwick in March and April had been received by the Canterbury Jockey Club when nominations closed on Monday afternoon. Australian reports say that New Zealand entries over the four days of the carnival are heavy and include Great Sensation, Ma Cherie, Ilumquh Fountainhead. Kingdom and others. Rich events at the carnival include the £lO,OOO Invitation Stakes, the £lO,OOO Doncaster Handicap and the £15,000 Sydney Cup.
