Common Market Tariff Cuts
(Rec. 8 pjn.) FRANKFURT. January 1. Custom* dutiea among the aix countrie* of the European Common Market will be cut by 10 per cent, from today in a further stage toward* eventual abolition. Outside tariff* against countries not member* of the Common Market will also be varied from January 1, but the changes are different in each country and tor various goods. The final aim is to have the same duties charged by all the Six—France. West Germany, Italy. Belgium. Holland and Luxembourg—against goods coming in from outside.
