Breasley Wins At Flemington

The Australian jockey Scobie Breasley. on holiday from several seasons of successful campaigning in Britain, was given a huge ovation by the holiday crowd at Flemington today when he won the Standish Handicap on Victorious. It was Breasley's second ride In Australia in two year* and his first win. In 1958, on Breasley's last visit to Australia, he had three rides and won the Stradbroke Stakes and Bagot Handicap and finished second in the Standish on the New Zealand horse Ray Ribbon.
