Nominations For Maori District Council
The Canterbury Maori Tribal executive has nominated two members to a proposed South Island district council of tribal executives. They are Mr J. Karetai, chairman of the Canterbury executive, and Mr W. Rehu, a Rapaki delegate. The council will promote matters of national importance to the Maori race.
