6s A Share Bid For Matea
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 7. Matea Forests, Ltd., has received a firm offer for its Pukahunui forest property worth 6s a share (New Zealand currency) after meeting all liabilities, the chairman (Mr G. H. Mackley) announced in Auckland today. Full details of the offer, which the directors recommend for acceptance, will be given as soon as practicable. Matea Forests’ property consists of 41.000 acres of land with about 25.000 acres planted in Pinus radiata.
