Ansett Revenue £26.8 Million
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, December 7. Ansett Transport Industries, Ltd, and subsidiaries increased total revenue from £22 million to £26.8 million in its latest year to July 2. Airline revenue rose from £14.2 million to £16.2 million.
During the year, the company's airline carried 1,393.195 paying passengers over 20,811,597 route miles. The revenue load factor was 61.7 per cent. (63.8 per cent, last year). Consolidated net profit was £671,881 (£501,521) equal to 22.59 per cent. (25.62 per cent.) on ordinary capital. Dividends took £433,954 (£269,139) including a steady 10 per cent, on higher average ordinary capital.
