Cycling Byers, Thompson For Australia

(N.Z. Press Association— Copyright; MET .BOURNE. December 5. The New Zealand cyclists, L. Byers and R. Thompson, who form one of the top combinations for the amateur six-day race at Bendigo from December 26 to 31, are likely to remain in Melbourne for events at the Velo-, drome. Mr W. Long, organiser of the Bendigo race, said last night: “Byers and Thompson are keen to gain experience on the boards here.” He added: "Byers and Thompson will arrive in Australia only a few days before the Bendigo race starts.”
